This large Moorcroft Powder Blue Urn and Stand sits 19cm high; it probably dates from the late 1930s.
It’s in good condition. Like all Powder Blue pieces it has the odd fleck and inconsistency in the glaze (a small spot of blue is visible in the interior - see photo: the base has some wear) but this is the nature of this simple, elegant, functional pottery.
The urn is stamped MOORCROFT MADE IN ENGLAND to the base.
